The SSTV module has a built-in editor for creating templates for your outgoing messages on background pictures from your own photo collections. You can also enable the SuperSweeper History file to keep track of and display information about callsigns you have heard from your location. The SuperSweeper gives you the ability to view and decode multiple signals using CW, BPSK and RTTY in a single window. It also integrates with the Ham Radio Deluxe Logbook to allow easy callsign look-ups and logging of your digital contacts through its built-in Add Log Entry (ALE) screen.ĭM-780 has features not found in any other program on the market today. The program integrates with the Ham Radio Deluxe Rig Control program to control band and frequency changes without exiting the program. It supports AFSK modes as well as FSK RTTY. HRD Version 5.24.Solution home Ham Radio Deluxe User Guides Digital Master (DM-780) What is Digital Master (DM-780)ĭM-780 is a very sophisticated, feature packed, program that allows you to send and receive many of the popular amateur radio digital modes, including SSTV and several PSK versions using a computer sound card. No known official manual exists for version 5 of HRD, but there is a Preliminary Manual for 5.21. I recommend you try the latest version first, and work your way back if you experience any issues. Taking up the offer listed on the site inviting hams to host the files on their own website you will find below the last versions of the free software available for you to download. It was announced in August of 2013 by a small blurb on the top of the archive page that all copies of the free version would be removed from their site on September 1st. In 2011 they sold HRD to a group of hams who intended to sell newer versions as a paid program, but making the promise to keep the old version free forever. In 2003 Peter (PH1PH) and Simon (HB9DRV) created Ham Radio Deluxe as a simple Rig Control Program, it quickly grew to be so much more. For now I have placed a link to the official site and manual for those who come across this page via old search links.

While I agree the current free offerings have never reached the level of HRD I feel that continuing to making these files easily available is only stifling the need for innovation so I am removing them. At this point over 6 years have passed and Hams have had the opportunity to budget for and purchase the paid version of HRD or move to some of the other free software available. I have decided to remove the links to Ham Radio Deluxe, originally the move to paid software left a lot of users hanging as the current version they were using was going to disappear overnight meaning if their PC died the free software they were using would no longer be available.
